Marvel Cinematic Universe
The truth when the creation of this cinematographic universe began, I was not struck by Iron Man (2008), I had no idea about the comics or the references of the other characters.
It was until I saw Captain America The First Avenger (2011) that it caught my attention, by the time the trailer came out I was 13 years old and I was discovering my sexuality and the physique of Chris Evans that appeared in the trailer called me a lot. When I saw the movie I admit that I liked it and I understood that a post-credits scene was coming out, that was when I saw the first advance of The Avengers I was surprised Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor together in a movie, I could not believe it .
When I got home from watching the movie, I wanted to know more about the characters, their connections, references to other movies, and I became a Marvel fan. I started reading comics, even buying action figures (which I still own). What I liked the most about the personality of these characters is that they were not gods, but humans. Unlike DC comics, Marvel maintained that quality in their stories.
As Stan Lee said:
“They are the greatest stories ever told, heroes show us that you don't need to be perfect to was right. It is not about living without fear but facing injustice, it is not about being powerful but fanding your call when I least expect it. They show us is ok to be vulnerable, no matter how tough you are. Because even if they are heroes, they are still human ... "
